COLLABORATORS
Kathleen Legassick was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario and is a graduate of the Ryerson Performance Dance Program (2014). She has worked with Coleman Lemieux & Compagnie (2013), Chartier Danse (2014) and she performed as a guest artist with the Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre (2015). Most recently, Kathleen has worked with ProArteDanza in their Fall Season (2015).
She has worked closely with many established choreographers including; Bill Coleman, Marie-Josée Chartier, David Earle, Roberto Campanella, Robert Glumbek, Ryan Lee, Hannah Kiel and Colin Connor. Kathleen has also participated in the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Summer Intensive Program (2011) and ProArteDanza’s Summer Intensive Program (2013).
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Tara Pillon trained extensively in multiple styles of dance. She graduated with honours from Ryerson University, where she received a BFA in Performance Dance. Tara has performed in Gadfly’s Urban Dance Repertory Company in various performances and events including their production of “UNBXBL”, their very own TUDS Festival, Dance Ontario, Pan Am Celebrations, and The National Ballet School’s Sharing Dance event. Recently, she had the privilege of joining Hanna Kiel’s “Young Human Body Expression” in a research creation process.
Tara has also joined Ballet Creole in their 25th Anniversary production- “Agua Como Vida”, and their holiday production - “Soulful Messiah”. Tara has taught and choreographed for dance schools throughout Toronto and, in the year 2013, she took on her current role of Assistant Dance Director at DanzArts Toronto.
